This is more of a photo dump, but I wanted to close out May strong for my own peace of mind and ego.
Quiet day of rides, I gave two solo tours--the first was a morning 2 hour for a family in which I used Litli Karl as my guide horse (in all honesty I had no idea if he was good or not but I tend to vibe with white horses against my personal aesthetic wishes, so I lucked by grabbing him at random in the field bc he's one of the most trusted in the company woohoo) and in the afternoon I led a 1 hour on Nota. I also found a UNC cup after I got in from my evening tour? What are the odds? I sent it to Mary pronto and we both laughed at how I'd found myself so far from home in an Icelandic town with maybe 2000 residents...and there's a UNC cup in the cabinet. Elisa had the day off (well deserved) and I can tell a bit of rain is coming in as I sit down to plan dinner. The clouds are hugging the top of the Ölfus mountain as they do when brooding, so I feel sure they'll spill over within the evening. Even Papaya seems to be hunkering in for the evening.
UPDATE: I just got out of the shower and indeed it has started to rain. Kind of nice way to both end the day and the month, however the boss has just lit his trash on fire right behind our house and we had to rush to close the windows so we don't smell the burnt plastic for the rest of the night. Oh the joys.
