WHAT'S  GOOD 

I'm Martin Allison: a Charleston SC/USA native, eager world explorer, and passionate creative. I love a solid Spotify playlist (on repeat right now: "mother may I" see below :) ) an oat milk latte, and have two Bachelor Degrees from The College of Charleston: Communication & Studio Art.  I am currently spending time in North Iceland, living & working. 

 

I grew up the daughter of a teacher and an airline pilot, and when I wasn't catching frogs or lizards outside, I was sitting on an airport floor waiting for hours to snag a standby seat with my family on another of my mother's "great american adventures."  Not to be confused with anything luxurious, my formative family adventures consisted of roadside PB&Js, slumber parties in the airport, and a stack of novels as we drove to the next hiking spot.  Looking back, it all makes sense why photography called my name--it's spirit is just as humble, candid, and pure as my mother's adventures.
